Spectacularly rare original Skiing poster promoting sking in the Alps, Jura, Vosges, Pyrenees or the Auvergne Mountains. Simply magificent "Early" Ski Poster. Hugon captures skiing at it's essence, by promoting Travel to thses remote French Pyreneen I Auvergne Ski Stations. Access was made easy by French train travel, and Hugon nails the image by showing the simplicity of packing up the fundamentals: Ski's and a Backpack, for the journey and the reliability of the French Train system. This is a meaningful poster aimed at adventurists who would book a ski excursion, especially knowing that they can count on French rail transport to their favorite "Pistes". In the 1930's tains were the preferred mode of travel.
